John Lennon's Summer Holidays comprises 4 photographs of John Lennon taken on the Isle of Man in the early 1950s during a school trip. These rare photographs taken by John's Dovedale Road primary school teacher, Mr. Beer, show a young John Lennon enjoying himself with his school pals, including comedian Jimmy Tarbuck. The black and white photographs are housed in a gatefold sleeve which has been signed by Julia Baird, John Lennon's half-sister. The photographs each measure 9cm x 6.5cm (3.5 inches x 2.5 inches) and the pack measures 21cm x 29.5cm (8.25 inches x 11.75inches). This is a limited numbered edition of 1000.

We have recently purchased a collection of photographs that came from the archives of '16 Magazine'. The magazine was famous for constantly having the most up to date photographs, of pop artists, television and movie stars of the day. The item listed below was originally part of this.
An original black and white press photograph showing a head and shoulders shot of Ringo Starr. The front and reverse have cropping instructions on and the reverse also has a Leslie Bryce stamp on the reverse. Measures 19cm x 25cm (7.5 inches x 10 inches). Very good plus condition.

An original black and white press photograph showing Ringo and Maureen Starr and Jane Asher boarding an aeroplane bound for India. The photo was taken on the 19th February 1968 as Paul and Ringo flew out to meet John and George in India. Has a typed statement on the reverse explaining the photo. Measures 19cm x 20.5cm (7.5 inches x 8 inches). Very good condition.
