    A collection of promotional items for the 2006 remix album ‘Love’ featuring music by The Beatles. The collection consists of a retro yellow bag with printed ‘Love’ design, a black long sleeved shirt and white t-shirt with printed designs, a track sampler CD, a CD with extracts of interviews, a CD copy of the album, a note block and a pin badge.

    The shirts measure 47cm (18.5 inches) armpit to armpit and 60cm (23.5 inches) from the back of the neck to the hem. The bag measures approximately 32cm x 24cm x 9.5cm (12.5 inches x 9.5 inches x 3.8 inches). The condition is very good.

  • B46015 – George Michael 1984 Careless Whisper Performance Worn Shirt (Spain)

    A white shirt worn by George Michael during a performance of ‘Careless Whisper’ on Top of The Pops in 1984. A video of the performance can be seen here. The shirt was manufactured by Victor Shirts, Ibiza, a well know fashionable shirt maker which opened its doors in 1983, the company sold shirts to the stars in the 1980s. George Michael had a love of Ibiza since his group Wham filmed the 1983 video to ‘Club Tropicana’ on the party island.

    Provenance: accompanied by a letter from the daughter of the original recipient which reads: ‘George Michael’s Shirt Top of The Pops. This document shall serve as a letter of authenticity for the aforementioned item. Front pleated, open neck, white cotton shirt, manufactured by Victor. This is George Michael’s shirt that he wore on Top of The Pops in 1984 to sing ‘Careless Whisper’. Given to me by my auntie Venia in 1998 when she was suffering from terminal breast cancer. She was a freelance journalist who in the course of her work had acquired it from George Michael.’

    No size label is present in the shirt. It measures 59cm (23.2 inches) armpit to armpit and 84.5cm (33.2 inches) from the back of the neck to the hem. The condition is excellent.

    A large white tablecloth with lace pattern and edges that was previously owned by Freddie Mercury.

    Provenance: previously sold as part of lot 1587 from the Freddie Mercury: A World Of His Own, Crazy Little Things 1 sale held at Sotheby’s, New Bond Street, London on the 12th September. This lot consisted of a large collection of table linen etc. that Freddie had purchased for use in his home, Garden Lodge, in Kensington, London.   Please note the colour auction tag is for illustrative purposes only.

    The tablecloth measures approximately 160cm x 216cm (63 inches x 85 inches). There are small yellow marks in places and a purple tag stitched into one side of the tablecloth. The condition is very good.

    An original brown leather Mulberry kit bag promoting Paul McCartney’s album ‘Flaming Pie’ released in 1997. There is a stitched material Mulberry logo patch on one side and the ‘Flaming Pie’ logo patch on the other. It has a Velcro fastening at the top and a metal attachment with the Mulberry logo and serial number 791139.

    The bag measures 76cm x 51cm (29.9 inches x 20 inches). There are light marks to some of the metal attachments. The condition is near mint.

    The gilet measures 61cm (24 inches) from armpit to armpit and 66cm (25.9 inches) from the back of the neck to the hem. The material is lightly worn with some slight bobbling. The condition is very good.

    A green three piece suit which was formerly owned and worn by John Entwistle of The Who.  The suit comprises trousers, waistcoat and jacket.  The trousers bear a label from the tailors which reads ‘Major, 11 Royal Parade, Dawes Road, Fulham, London, SW6 7RE. Telephones 01-385 6179/1023.  No 14183.  Date 25.2.80.  Name J Entwistle’.  The suit comes with a Turnbull & Asser shirt which is still in the original packaging.

    The condition of the suit is excellent. The condition of the shirt is near mint.

    Provenance: both items were given to a close friend of the Entwistle family and sold through Bonham’s Entertainment Auction 15th December 2010.

    The jacket measures 65cm (25.5 inches) from armpit to armpit and 70cm (27.5 inches) from the back of the neck to the hem. There is light wear to the material. The condition is very good plus.

    The jacket measures 48cm (18.8 inches) from armpit to armpit and 92cm (36.2 inches) from the back of the neck to the hem.

    The trousers measure 84cm (33 inches) around the waist and 74cm (29 inches) at the inside leg.

    There is light wear to the material of the jacket and trousers. The condition is excellent.

    Provenance:  the suit was previously sold as lot 205 Gorringes Auctions in October 2010.  The auction featured lots consigned by Elton’s mother Sheila Farebrother and former personal assistant Bob Halley.

    An original black satin tour jacket from Eric Clapton’s Slowhand world tour in 1978 which was worn by Pattie Boyd at the shows. It has contrasting gold satin sleeves, ribbed cuffs and patches to the front and reverse.

    The jacket measures 48cm (18.8 inches) from armpit to armpit and 56cm (22 inches) from the back of the neck to the hem. There are some small marks and very light wear to the material. The condition is excellent.

    Provenance: the jacket is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Pattie Boyd.

    They are a size 34 inch waist with 32 inch leg.  Relaxed fit.  The condition is very good plus.

    Provenance: from the personal collection of Don McLean which was consigned to Julien’s Auctions in November 2022.  The jeans come with a colour print out of the original lot card from Julien’s and are also accompanied by a Tracks Ltd certificate of authenticity confirming the above.
