£350.00Add to basketAn original concert poster from a performance by Jerry Lee Lewis which took place at The Tower Ballroom, New Brighton on 17th May 1962. Ringo Starr sat in as the drummer for The Echoes, Jerry Lee’s backing group, for the performance.
Provenance: the poster is from the collection of former Cavern Club compère Bob Wooler. Bob was a pivotal figure in the Merseyside music scene, most notable for being instrumental in introducing Brian Epstein to The Beatles on his visit to the Cavern on 9th November 1961. He introduced The Beatles on countless occasions during their 292 appearances at the club from 21st March 1961 to their last appearance on 3rd August 1963 and became a great local ambassador for the group, helping to develop and consolidate their popularity on Merseyside.
The poster measures 51cm x 76cm (20 inches x 30 inches). It is rolled but has previously been folded leaving horizontal and vertical crease lines. It has some wear and creasing to the edges and corners and there is some light staining/discolouration throughout. The condition is very good.

The Top Ten Club was a music club in Hamburg’s St. Pauli district at Reeperbahn 136, which opened on the 31st October 1960 and kept its name until 1994. In 1961 The Beatles held a residency at the club and performed 92 times.
The print measures 41cm x 50.5cm (16.1 inches x 19.8 inches). The bottom edge has slightly creased and there are small marks across the surface. The condition is very good.

It was Madonna’s first world tour with performances in Japan, USA and Europe.
The poster measures 61cm x 84cm (24 inches x 33 inches). There are small marks on the front around the white border and small creases across the surface. The condition is very good.
