    An original Apple Studios, 3 Savile Row, London, England box containing a 7 ½ IPS reel to reel tape dated 7th November 1974. Numerous details on the box such as Client, Artist, Job No. Date, Title etc have been completed in pen in an unknown hand. The tape features an open-ended interview with Ringo Starr about his latest album ‘Goodnight Vienna’. It comes with two period photocopied information sheets from Apple that list all of the questions that are put to Ringo on the tape. A snippet of the audio can be heard here.

    The box measures 18.5cm x 18.5cm x 2cm (7.25 inches x 7.25 inches x 0.75 inches). There are splits on two corners of the lid. The condition is very good. Please note this item is not sold with copyright. It is sold as an artefact only.

PORKY has also been etched into the run out groove. Side two Apple label missing. The matrix number is 7YCE 21528 – 1U with 1G stamper, KT tax code. GUTZEE PECKO has been etched into the run out groove. The record was released in the UK on 13th March 1971 with the catalogue number R5892.

    Several numbers have been lightly etched into the playing surface although the vinyl plays through fine. The condition is very good minus.

    An original 7½ inch 2 track stereo master tape, in its original EMITAPE box, for the Adam Faith album ‘I Survive’. The album contained two tracks with involvement from Paul McCartney. ‘Star Song’ with Paul and Linda on backing vocals and ‘Never Say Goodbye’ upon which Paul played the synthesiser. The box contains a Kingsway Recorders Limited sticker on the reverse with handwritten details for artist, track listing, engineer, client, producer, speed, date etc.

    Provenance:  comes with a letter from the producer of the album, David Courtney, stating that this was his personal copy of the tape.

The song was written and produced by Paul McCartney. Paul also played percussion on the recording. The acetate is housed in a plain yellow paper sleeve, there are two marks made in pen.

    An original UK pressing of The Jam’s 1977 album ‘This Is The Modern World’ which has been signed by the group. Paul Weller has signed in black ballpoint pen on the reverse. Rick Buckler has autographed on the front in black ballpoint pen. Bruce Foxton has signed in blue ballpoint pen, adding ‘To Martin’ before his name. The signatures were obtained at a signing session held at the Look Hear record store on the 6th December 1979 before the Jam’s performance at the City Hall.

    Provenance: accompanied by a letter from the recipient of the signatures confirming how they were obtained.

    There is creasing to the edges of the sleeve with some scuffing to the corners. The condition is very good.

    Provenance: comes with a letter from the original recipient that reads ‘I entered a Radio London phone in competition in which Sparks offered a signed album to whichever called in with the correct answer to their question. I was correct and the prize was sent to me.’

The vinyl containing side one has the matrix number EMA 795 A-5U. The vinyl containing side two has the matrix number EMA 795 B-9U. Both records also have Mastered At Allen Zentz L.A Calif printed in the run out groove. Each record comes in an original EMI sleeve. Side one label is printed with the date 5 Jun 1980 with a handwritten matrix number. Side two label is printed with the date 6 Jun 1980 with a handwritten matrix number.
    The condition of both is mint.

    An original rare Italian Apple Records 7 inch singles set issued on 25th November 1968 in a unique fold out picture sleeve. The set contains 4 7″ vinyl records: Mary Hopkin’s ‘Quelli Erano Giorni/Turn Turn Turn’, Jackie Lomax’s ‘Sour Milk Sea/The Eagle Laughs At You’, The Iveys ‘Maybe Tomorrow/And Her Daddy’s A Millionaire’ and an interview between The Beatles and Kenny Everett recorded at EMI Studios in 1968, ‘In Questo Disco, Una Sensazionale Intervista Con John, Ringo, Paul & George’, which was exclusive to the Italian market and specifically to this set. The records are housed in a unique quad fold picture sleeve which is designed so that the 7” singles fit into the relevant picture pocket. This Italy only record set was issued to promote the launch of Apple Records in 1968, the UK equivalent was the ‘Our First Four’ pack.
    The condition of labels is mint. The condition of two of the records is mint. The other two records have some light surface marks on each side. The condition is very good. The vinyl on all the discs is very bright. There is some light creasing to the sleeve and some staining to the reverse where a sticker with a diameter of approx. 2cm has previously been. The condition of the sleeve is very good.

The single was first released in the USA in May 1977 and in the UK in August 1979.
