    A collection of original unused tickets for the Isle of Wight Festival from 1968, 1969 and 1970. It consists of the following:

    A ticket for the first festival held on the 31st August 1968 which is numbered 9573. Jefferson Airplane headlined the festival with The Move, Smile, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation, Fairport Convention and The Pretty Things amongst others. It measures 21cm x 9.2cm (8.2 inches x 3.6 inches). The condition is mint.

    A double-sided ticket for the festival held on the 31st August 1969 which is numbered 13669. Bob Dylan, The Nice, The Pretty Things, The Who, Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band, Fat Mattress and Joe Cocker all performed. John Lennon, George Harrison, Ringo Starr and Keith Richards all attended the festival. It measures 8cm x 10.3cm (3.1 inches x 4 inches). There is a small section of scuffing on the left edge and some slight staining to both sides. The condition is very good plus.

    Three double-sided tickets for the festival for the 28th, 29th and 30th August 1970. Each ticket has space for the holder’s name address and seat numbers on the reverse.  Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, Jethro Tull, Ten Years After, The Doors, The Who, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Supertramp, The Moody Blues, Joan Baez, Free, Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, Donovan and Taste all performed amongst others. The tickets measure 11.8cm x 11.4cm (4.6 inches x 4.5 inches). The condition is excellent.

    An original large format ticket stub from The Beatles appearance on the BBC TV programme Juke Box Jury and live performance that took place during the group’s Northern Area Fan Club Convention at the Empire Theatre, Liverpool on 7th December 1963. The stub has ‘0.61’ handwritten at the top in blue pen.

    The stub measures 14.5cm x 10cm (5.75 inches x 4 inches). It has been folded leaving a vertical crease down the middle and there are tape stains to each corner. The condition is very good minus.

    An original concert handbill for various performances throughout October and November 1990 for venues in Birmingham. Nirvana are listed to perform at Goldwyns on the 23rd October. It measures 14.7cm x 20.8cm (5.8 inches x 8.2 inches). There is some staining to one third of the flyer with some creasing and some small tears to three of the corners. The condition is very good minus.

    A concert ticket for Paul McCartney’s performance that took place at Palacio De Los Deportes De La Comunidad De Madrid, Spain on 3rd November 1989. The ticket has been signed on the front by Paul McCartney in black felt tipped pen. The signature was obtained at Madrid airport on 3rd November 1989. Comes with a letter from the original recipient stating the circumstances in which it was obtained. Also including a modern print of Paul McCartney signed autographs at Madrid airport on the evening of November 3rd 1989.

    The ticket measures 8cm x 14.75cm (3.25 inches x 5.75 inches). Some slight tape stains on the edges of the ticket from previous mounting. The condition is very good plus.

    An original souvenir programme from the 1963 UK tour by Chris Montez and Tommy Roe on which The Beatles were a support act. The tour took place from 9th March to 31st March 1963. This is an extremely rare version of the programme that was issued only by Granada Cinemas. During the tour The Beatles only performed at three Granada Cinemas, East Ham London on the 9th March 1963, Bedford on the 12th March 1963 and Mansfield on the 26th March 1963.

    The programme measures 17.7cm x 23.8cm (7 inches x 9.4 inches). The programme has previously been folded leaving crease lines. There is some creasing and wear to the corners. The condition is very good minus.

    The programme measures 21.5cm x 28.25cm (8.5 inches x 11.6 inches).  There are pinholes running throughout the programme in the upper left corner and the top centre edge.  The condition is very good.

    The letter is dated ‘8/2/80’ and it is accompanied by the original mailing envelope which is postmarked 25th February 1980. The letter measures 20.8cm x 29cm (8.2 inches x 11.4 inches). The condition is very good.
