B25042 – George Harrison 1980s Olivia Harrison Signed Friar Park Staff Memo (UK)
£150.00
An original 1980s memo to the staff of Friar Park which has been signed by George Harrison’s wife, Olivia. She has signed her first name below the message in blue pen, it appears a small part of the writing is missing due to a document being in the way during signing. The memo reads, “Please make sure that if you are to receive a delivery of lumber, or topsoil, or mechanical parts that whoever placed the order is there to receive it or that you have made arrangements for the delivery person to be met. That means you will have to ask for an approximate time of delivery. As the back gate bell is answered by us in the house, we often then have to run around looking for whoever might be expecting that delivery. Also, how are we to know if the person trying to gain entry is genuinely expected? Delivery personnel should always be met at the gate, delivery taken, and then escorted out the gate. Thank you”. It measures 21cm x 29.5cm (8.25 inches x 11.5 inches). The memo has been folded leaving vertical and horizontal crease lines. The condition is very good.
