An original 7 inch Emidisc acetate of the Mary Hopkin song ‘Those Were The Days’. This was released in the UK on 30th August 1968, it was Hopkin’s first ever single release. Paul McCartney produced the record and he also played acoustic guitar on the track as well as percussion. The song was recorded in Studio 3 at EMI’s Abbey Road, London studios, the engineer on the day of recording was Geoff Emerick. The artist, title and ‘APPLE CORPS’ are written on the label. The B-side of the acetate contains a single by Richard Barnes entitled ‘Look Away’. The condition is very good.
