An original 1974 USA promotional press book produced by George Harrison’s record label Dark Horse Records for the release of the 1974 Ravi Shankar album Shankar Family & Friends.  The album was produced by George Harrison and was one of the first releases on the ex-Beatle’s Dark Horse label.  The comb-bound book features a biography of Ravi Shankar along with information on other artists who appeared on the album and also an interview with Shankar from July 1974. Also included are three black & white promotional photographs. The book measures 22cm x 27.5cm (8.75 inches x 10.75 inches). The condition is very good.
