B25758 – New Musical Express (NME) 1962 Newspapers Complete Set (UK)


The New Musical Express was perhaps the most authoritative UK music paper of the 60s.  It contained interviews with, and features about, all of the important artists and bands of the sixties plus news, record and concert reviews and great pictures. This is a complete run of the New Musical Express from 1962. It comprises 52 consecutive issues beginning January 5th 1962, number 782 and ends with number 833, December 28th 1962. The paper normally consisted of 12 pages. It measured 33.5cm x 41cm (13 inches x 16 inches). There is general wear and tear to all of the spines and edges and there is dirt staining to the front and back covers. The Christian name of the recipient is written on the top right hand corner of the front of most of the papers. Many of the issues have been folded. The condition of one of the issues is fair with severe distress to the spine. The condition of the majority of the remainder of the papers is very good minus.
