B25817 – The Beatles Yellow Submarine 1968 Animation Drawing (UK)

An original hand drawn sketch from The Beatles 1968 animated film ‘Yellow Submarine’. It features a pencil drawing of one of the evil clowns with animation notes written along the bottom edge. As part of the production process the animation artist would draw these sketches under the guidance of the project’s director. The next stage would be that the cells used in the actual film would be created based on these pencil sketches.

The sketch is drawn on three-hole punched paper and measures 40.5cm x 31.75cm (16 inches x 12.5 inches). The punch holes have been reinforced with brown tape. The condition is excellent.
