An original promotional press kit for the 1987 book ‘It Was Twenty Years Ago Today’ by the Beatles press officer, Derek Taylor. It consists of a three-page biography of the author and a six-page press release including details of the promotional campaign and a copy of an article from the Sunday Times newspaper. The items are housed in a red gatefold sleeve printed with the Sgt. Pepper album cover artwork.

The press kit measures 21.5cm x 30.5cm (8.5 inches x 12 inches). Each item has some writing in pen on the first page. The condition is very good.
