B26520 – David Bowie 1972 Greyhound Croydon Ziggy Stardust Concert Handbill (UK)

An original promotional flyer for upcoming attractions at the Greyhound in Croydon, London. The handbill is printed with details of concerts at the venue between May and July 1972, including a performance by David Bowie which took place on 25^th June 1972. This concert was part of the UK leg of Bowie’s renowned ‘Ziggy Stardust’ tour. The flyer also features appearances by Uriah Heep, Mott The Hoople, Rory Gallagher and Genesis. It measures 12.5cm x 19cm (5 inches x 7.5 inches). There are tape stains in each corner and the flyer has been folded leaving vertical and horizontal crease lines. A 1.25cm (0.5 inch) piece has been torn from the upper left corner and there is a small area of tearing to the lower left corner. The condition is very good minus.
