B26542 – Wayne Fontana 1963 Signed Cavern Club Performance Contract Bob Wooler Collection (UK)

An original McKiernan Agency contract relating to a performance by Wayne Fontana & The Mindbenders which took place at the Cavern Club, Liverpool on 21^st August 1963. The yellow one-page contract was drawn up between the group and Ray McFall and is dated 11^th July 1963. It has been signed at the bottom by Wayne Fontana in blue ballpoint pen.

Provenance: the item comes from the collection of Bob Wooler, former Cavern DJ.

The contract measures 21cm x 33cm (8.25 inches x 13 inches). There are two punch holes down the left edge and several staple holes in the upper left corner. The contract has been folded leaving horizontal crease lines. The condition is very good.
