An original promotional poster for the ‘Rock ‘n Trad Spectacular’ which took place at Shrewsbury Town Hall on 24^th March 1961. The poster lists performances at the event by a variety of artists including Rory Storm & The Hurricanes, featuring Ringo Starr on the drums. Also listed on the poster are Dale Robert & The Jay Walkers, Jerry & His Wild Four, Bob Steele & The Hotrods and the Griff Stevens Jazz Group. It measures 51cm x 76cm (20 inches x 30 inches). The poster has been folded leaving vertical and horizontal crease lines. There is a 7.5cm (3 inch) piece missing from the lower right corner, a 2.5cm (1 inch) piece missing from the upper right corner and a 4cm (1.5 inch) piece missing from the upper left corner. There is also a pinhole and tear in the lower left corner. The condition is good plus.
