B27271 – Professor Longhair 1978 Live On The Queen Mary Press Kit (USA)

An original USA press kit for Professor Longhair’s 1978 album, Live On The Queen Mary. The album was recorded at a party held by Paul McCartney in Long Beach, California on 24^th March 1975 during the Wings Over America tour. The press kit contains an LP copy of the album, two promotional photographs and a 6-page interview. All housed in a gatefold sleeve which measures 33cm x 33cm (13 inches x 13 inches). Also included is a 7inch record of Professor Longhair’s 1978 Mess Around/Tipitina single with a facsimile covering letter on MPL London letter-headed paper. The condition of the contents of the press kit is very good plus, the sleeve has considerable wear and creasing to the spine, corners and edges with some tearing to the upper left corner. The condition of the sleeve is good minus.
