About this item

An original promotional handbill for a performance by the Sex Pistols which was due to take place at the 400 Ballroom, Torquay on 5th October 1976. The event was originally given the go-ahead by Devon County Council however locals protested and the concert was cancelled. Performances also listed on the flyer are Strife, Eddie And The Hotrods and Casino.  The handbill comes from the collection of the original concert promoter. It measures 20.25cm x 25.25cm (8 inches x 10 inches). There is some creasing along the top edge and some small areas of staining on both top and bottom edges. The condition is very good.
