An original 1967 copy of the front and back covers of the first edition of Rolling Stone magazine. The music newspaper is dated 9th November 1967 and features an image of John Lennon on the cover taken from the film ‘How I Won The War’ in which he starred as Musketeer Gripweed. It measures 29cm x 42cm (11.5 inches x 16.5 inches). The cover has been folded leaving a horizontal crease line across the middle. There is paper and glue residue in the corners on the front cover and some small pieces of tape on the back cover. It has a 2cm (0.75 inch) tear to the left edge on the reverse. The condition is very good.
