B29529 – Pete Best Original All Stars + Rory Storm & Hurricanes 1964 Concert Poster (UK)

An original 1964 concert poster for a performance by Rory Storm & The Hurricanes at the ‘Teenage Dance’ which took place at Connah’s Quay Civic Hall in Flintshire, Wales on 2^nd January 1964. The white poster is printed with the event and ticket details in black & blue. The concert was headlined by Pete Best’s group The Original All Stars with support from Rory Storm & The Hurricanes who, from November 1959 to August 1962, featured Ringo Starr on the drums before he left to join The Beatles.

The poster measures 37.5cm x 50.5cm (14.75 inches x 20 inches). There is a 5.75cm (2.25 inch) tear across the word ‘Stars’ in the middle of the poster. It has been folded leaving vertical and horizontal crease lines and there is general creasing throughout. The condition is good plus.
