B29530 – Rory Storm & The Hurricanes Northwich Memorial Hall 1963 Concert Poster (UK)

An original 1963 concert poster for a performance by Rory Storm & The Hurricanes which took place at Northwich Memorial Hall, Cheshire on 21^st December 1963. The yellow poster is printed with the event and ticket details in black. The concert was headlined by Wayne Fontana & The Mindbenders with support from Sounds Incorporated and Rory Storm & The Hurricanes who, from November 1959 to August 1962, featured Ringo Starr on the drums before he left to join The Beatles. Also listed is a performance by The Hollies which took place shortly after on 24^th December 1963.

The poster measures 50cm x 76cm (19.75 inches x 30 inches). There are 11.5cm (4.5 inch) and 8.25cm (3.25 inch) tears to the lower left edge, a 10cm (4 inch) piece missing from the upper left corner, a 4.5cm (1.75 inch) piece missing from the lower left corner and a 2.5cm (1 inch) piece missing from the upper right corner. The poster has been folded leaving vertical and horizontal crease lines and there is general creasing and wear throughout. The condition is fair.
