An original 1967 souvenir postcard featuring a colour image of the Apple Boutique on Baker Street, London with its giant mural painted by the Dutch design collective The Fool. The reverse of the card is printed with ‘Apple Card’.
Simon Posthuma and Marijke Koger of The Fool also produced art and clothing. Their best known work consisted of items created for the Beatles including the psychedelic clothes worn in the 1967 broadcast for ‘All You Need Is Love’, decorations to both George Harrison and John Lennon’s instruments and of course the giant mural on the sides of the Apple boutique building in Baker Street, London.
The postcard measures 9cm x 14cm (3.5 inches x 5.5 inches). The condition is excellent.
