B29896 – Paul McCartney UNICEF Kampuchea Concerts 1981 Promotional Poster (UK)

An original 1981 promotional poster for the release of the double album featuring highlights from the 1979 ‘Concerts For The People Of Kampuchea’. The double album features performances of Paul McCartney’s band Wings, Queen, The Who, Ian Dury & The Blockheads, The Clash and others recorded during the concerts which took place between 26^th and 29^th December 1979 to raise money for UNICEF. The poster has been rolled and is printed with colour images of some of the performers with a list of the artists across the bottom.

The poster measures 76.25cm x 122cm (30 inches x 48 inches). There is a 2.5cm (1 inch) tear to the top edge which has been repaired on the reverse with tape. The poster has numerous other pin holes, staple holes and tears, a couple more of which have been repaired on the reverse. There is wear and tear to the left and right edges. The condition is very good minus.
