An original 1979 merchandising t-shirt for the release of the television film ‘Wings Over The World’ by Paul McCartney’s band Wings. The feature consisted of various clips of the McCartney family and of the band rehearsing, talking to the press and performing. It was shown on CBS in America in March 1979 and on the BBC in the UK in April 1979. The white short-sleeved t-shirt is printed with an illustration of the band looking up at a fleet of ‘Wings Over The World’ aeroplanes designed by the airbrush artist Philip Castle. There is no size indicated. The condition is very good.
