An original Can Variety Agency, London contract between the owner of the Cavern Club, Liverpool Ray McFall and D. Currie who was representing the Zenith Six for a number of performances at the Cavern which took place on the evenings of 28th October, 11th and 25th November and 9th and 30th December 1962. On 25th November and 9th December the Zenith Six shared the bill at the Cavern with none other than The Beatles. No contracts were drawn up for Beatles performances as they performed at the Cavern so frequently and in this pre-fame period they were not often the headline act. Also in attendance on the 9th December was George Martiin The contract comes from the collection of the former Cavern Club compère, Bob Wooler. The contract measures 20cm x 33cm (8 inches x 13 inches). The condition is excellent.
