B30944 – Brian Epstein Owned Music Centre Alfie Acetate Unknown Artist (UK)

£250.00

An original single sided acetate by an unknown artist.  It is on a Music Centre, 50 Bond Street, London label.  The label has the words ‘Alfie’, ’45 R.P.M’ and ‘Famous Demo’ handwritten in blue pen on the label.  There are light scratched over the surface of the acetate.  The condition is very good minus.  The acetate comes with a letter from Brian Epstein’s nephew Henry which reads as follows:

‘This is to confirm that the single sided 45rpm The Music Centre acetate, illustrated above, for the recording of ‘Alfie; by an unknown artist is authentic.  The acetate was bequeathed to me and was formerly the property of my uncle, Brian Epstein, manager of the Beatles.’

The letter has then been signed by Henry in blue pen.
