B31109 – The Beatles Related 1961 Hambleton Hall Ticket Bob Wooler Collection (UK)

A generic concert ticket for a Rock ‘n Roll Dance that took place on a series of Sundays at Hambleton Hall, Huyton, Liverpool during 1961. The Beatles played on eight occasions between August and December in 1961 at the venue, there is a very strong possibility that this generic ticket was issued for one of the shows at which The Beatles performed. The ticket is from the collection of former Cavern Club compère Bob Wooler.  Bob was a pivotal figure in the Merseyside music scene of the early sixties.  He introduced The Beatles countless times during their 292 appearances at The Cavern and was a great ambassador for the group. It measures 12.3cm x 8cm (4.75 inches x 3.1 inches). The condition is excellent.
