B31421 – Acker Bilk 1960 Signed MV Royal Iris Birkenhead Performance Contract Bob Wooler Collection (UK)

An original Lyn Dutton Agency Ltd. performance contract between Ray McFall and Acker Bilk for a performance at the MV Royal Iris, Birkenhead on the 17^th September 1960. It is dated 1^st September 1960 and is signed at the bottom by Acker Bilk in blue pen.

Provenance: the item comes from the collection of Cavern Club compère, Bob Wooler.

The contract measures 20.5cm x 32.8cm (8 inches x 13 inches). There are two punched holes along the left edge with pin holes to the top left corner. There is creasing to the edges and corners and some small tears along the top edge. There is some staining towards the bottom edge. The condition is very good minus.
