B32332 – Bad Company 1975 Straight Shooter Peter Grant Silver Disc Award (USA)


A USA silver sales award that was presented to Peter Grant, executive of Swan Song Records, for the sale of more than $2 million dollars of the Bad Company album ‘Straight Shooter’. It features a silver copy of the album above a plaque which reads, ‘Presented to Peter Grant to commemorate the sale of more than two million dollars worth of the Swan Songs Records long-playing record album “Straight Shooter”’. The award has been re-framed in silver but it retains the original white backing and the New York Frame and Picture Co sticker on the reverse. The glass has also been removed. It comes from the estate of Peter Grant. The award measures 41cm x 51cm (16.1 inches x 20.1 inches). There is some staining to the white backing. There is some scuffing and a scratch to the silver disc. The condition is very good minus.
