B32491 – John Cooper Clarke 1983 Rafters Manchester Concert Poster (UK)

An original concert poster for the John Cooper Clarke performance at the Rafters, Manchester on the 23rd December 1983. The words ‘Boring middle class new Manchester Revue presents stupid old farts at their trendy Friday soirée’ are at the top of the poster. Along with John Cooper Clarke; the Curious Yellows, Prime Time Suckers, Victor Brox and The Smirks are listed to perform.

The poster measures 51cm x 76cm (20 inches x 30 inches). There is a 0.75cm tear to the bottom edge. There is a 1.5cm tear to the right edge and a 0.5cm tear to the left edge along with some creasing. There is a 12cm x 6cm section which has been torn in the top left corner, this has been repaired on the reverse with tape. There is a 6cm x 3.75cm section which has been torn along the top edge. The condition is good plus.
