B32503 – Joe Cocker 1968 Handwritten Letter & Marjorine A Label Demo (UK)


A one page letter handwritten by Joe Cocker to Tony Prince. It reads:

‘Dear Tony, It’s great to here [sic] you’re getting on so well at Radio Luxembourg. As you probably know “Marjorine” is beginning to move a little now and it would be nice if you could give it a play. Best of luck

It also includes the original mailing envelope on which Joe has signed his name. The envelope is postmarked 10th April 1968. Accompanying the letter is a A label demo for Joe’s 1968 single ‘Marjorine’. The letter measures 20.3cm x 25.4cm (8 inches x 10 inches). The letter has previously been folded and there is some creasing to the corners. The condition is very good. There is some wear to the corners of the envelope. The condition is very good. There is some wear and discolouration to the vinyl sleeve. There is some surface scratches to the single. The condition is very good.
