B32576 – New Order Low Life 12 Inch White Label 1985 Test Pressing (UK)


An original UK test pressing of the 1985 New Order album entitled ‘Low Life’. The test pressing is on a blank white label. The matrix number on side one is ‘FACT 100A LYN-15588-1E Z’. The matrix number on side two is ‘FACT 100B LYN-1589-1E Z’. There is also the word ‘Penthouse’ etched onto the run-out groove of both sides. The words ‘New Order LP – B1’ is also etched onto the run-out groove on side two. The condition of the vinyl is excellent. The vinyl comes in a plain white inner sleeve with the words ‘FACT 100 New Order Low Life Lacquer’ handwritten in black pen on the front.

The test pressing was originally from the archive of Joy Division/New Order manager Rob Gretton and was part of his personal collection. It was originally obtained from Rob’s partner Lesley Gilbert.
