An original UK promo only issue of the 1993 New Order vinyl single entitled ‘Ruined In A Day’. The record is on a blank white label with a ‘Promo Copy Not For Resale’ sticker on one side. The matrix number on the stickered side is NUOX DJ-2+B. The matrix number on the opposite side is NUOX DJ 2 A. The words ‘Townhouse’ and ‘Orlake’ have been etched onto the run-out groove on both sides of the record. There are some light surfaces marks on stickered side of the record otherwise the condition is very good plus. There are numerous surface marks over the other side of the vinyl. The condition is very good plus. The vinyl comes in a plain white sleeve with the words ‘New Order Ruined In A Day NUOXDJ2’ handwritten in black pen on the front.
The test pressing was originally from of the archive of Joy Division/New Order manager Rob Gretton and was part of his personal collection. It was originally obtained from Rob’s partner Lesley Gilbert.
