B33364 – Genesis Publications Exile: The Making Of Exile On Main St. Collector’s Edition Book (UK)
Within a single signed leather-bound book, EXILE publishes in full the exceptional photographs of French rock photographer Dominique Tarlé taken during his stay with Keith Richards and Anita Pallenberg at Villa Nellcôte during the summer of 1971. This beautiful collection of images ranks amongst the finest and most revealing ever taken of the Rolling Stones or of any rock band. Remarkably, as a body of work the photography remained unpublished for over thirty years. As the complete record of Tarlé’s work and one of Genesis’s most prized editions, EXILE remains a highly sought after book across the world. The book includes contributions by Keith Richards, Anita Pallenberg, Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor amongst others. The book is quarter-bound in leather with gilt page edges and inlaid label on the front cover. It comes in a full colour photo-montage slipcase. This is No. 560 of 1,740 collector’s edition copies, each hand-signed by Dominique Tarlé. A yellow page taken from an autograph book which has been signed by Keith Richards has been attached to the foreward. There is some staining to the edge of the case and some scuffing to the spine. The condition of the case and book is very good.
