A collection of Disc Weekly music papers from 1959 which were previously owned by Cavern Club compère, Bob Wooler. There are 45 issues in total. The first is from the 10th January and the last is from the 26th December.

Disc and Music Echo was one of the top selling music papers of the early 60s. It was more lightweight in style than some of its competitors such as Melody Maker but nevertheless it provided extensive details of all of the current news and record releases. It also contains some fabulous photographs which were not seen elsewhere.

Disc and Music Echo measures 30.5cm x 40.5cm (12 inches x 16 inches). All of the issues are laid flat. There is significant damage to the front cover of 3 issues, the condition is fair. Of the remainder, the condition of two thirds is very good minus and a third are very good.
