An original UK Rough Trade promotional carrier bag for The Smiths 1987 single ‘Shoplifters Of The World Unite’. The badge comes from the archive of Rough Trade founder, Geoff Travis. Previously a drama teacher, Geoff opened the first Rough Trade record shop in London on the 23rd February 1976 and founded the record label of the same name two years later in 1978.

The bag measures 41.7cm x 38.5cm (16.5 inches x 15.15 inches). There are some small creases and marks on the surface. The bag as been folded leaving a vertical and horizontal crease line. The condition is very good plus.
