An extremely rare Parlophone A-label demonstration for The Beatles debut single ‘Love Me Do/P.S. I Love You’. The single was released with the catalogue number 45-R 4949 on 5th October 1962. McCartney is mis-spelt as ‘McArtney’ on both sides. Only 250 copies of the disc were produced and sent to radio stations to promote The Beatles.

Stampers on both side 1 and side 2 are ‘ZT’ ‘JR’

ZT tax code on side 1.

The single comes in the original ‘TOP POP’ sleeve.

The record has been extremely conservatively graded under a very bright light.

The condition of the labels is excellent. There are a number of surface marks on the vinyl but it plays through fine on both sides. The condition of the vinyl is conservatively graded at very good plus.
