A silver disc award for the sale of more than 300,000 copies of The Strokes’ 2003 album ‘Room On Fire’, released on Rough Trade Records, in the United Kingdom presented to Geoff Travis.
The award comes from the archive of Rough Trade founder, Geoff Travis. Previously a drama teacher, Geoff opened the first Rough Trade record shop in London on the 23rd February 1976 and founded the record label of the same name two years later in 1978.
It features a silver disc and artwork from the album with an engraved plaque below on a black background. The award comes in the original box. The frame measures 40.5cm x 51cm (16 inches x 20 inches). The condition is mint.
