A collection of original unused tickets for the Isle of Wight Festival from 1968, 1969 and 1970. It consists of the following:
A ticket for the first festival held on the 31st August 1968 which is numbered 9573. Jefferson Airplane headlined the festival with The Move, Smile, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation, Fairport Convention and The Pretty Things amongst others. It measures 21cm x 9.2cm (8.2 inches x 3.6 inches). The condition is mint.
A double-sided ticket for the festival held on the 31st August 1969 which is numbered 13669. Bob Dylan, The Nice, The Pretty Things, The Who, Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band, Fat Mattress and Joe Cocker all performed. John Lennon, George Harrison, Ringo Starr and Keith Richards all attended the festival. It measures 8cm x 10.3cm (3.1 inches x 4 inches). There is a small section of scuffing on the left edge and some slight staining to both sides. The condition is very good plus.
Three double-sided tickets for the festival for the 28th, 29th and 30th August 1970. Each ticket has space for the holder’s name address and seat numbers on the reverse.  Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, Jethro Tull, Ten Years After, The Doors, The Who, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Supertramp, The Moody Blues, Joan Baez, Free, Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, Donovan and Taste all performed amongst others. The tickets measure 11.8cm x 11.4cm (4.6 inches x 4.5 inches). The condition is excellent.
