A collection of items relating to the book ‘The Life and Times of Little Richard’ by Charles White. It consists of the following items:

A photocopy of a contract between Little Richard and Charles White dated 23^rd June 1981.

A letter on ‘Margolis, McTernan, Scope, Sacks & Epstein’ letterhead signed by David Epstein and dated 19^th November 1981 regarding the contract listed above.

A letter signed by Little Richard dated 5^th September 1983 regarding the termination of Robert ‘Bumps’ Blackwell’s rights, title and interests relating to the book.

A contract dated 1^st November 1983 which has been signed by Little Richard.

A letter on ‘Harmony Books’ letterhead signed by Esther Mitgang dated 21^st May 1984 regarding the book being in type, an excerpt being published in Rolling Stone magazine and the request of several photographs for the book.

The largest item measures 28cm x 35.5cm (11 inches x 14 inches). There are crease lines to the letters and contracts where they have previously been folded. The condition of the collection is very good.
