B35223 – Paul McCartney 1968 California Snapshot Photograph (USA)

An original snapshot photograph of Paul McCartney developed from the original negative in 1968. The photograph was taken outside the Beverly Hills Hotel, Los Angeles, California between the 21st and 25th June 1968 and shows Paul side on from the camera. Paul was in LA with Tony Bramwell and childhood friend Ivan Vaughan to promote their Apple label to Capitol Records. It was also on this trip that Paul met up for the second time with his future wife Linda Eastman, he had called her from a stop-over in New York and left a message saying he was staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel where they met up a couple of days later. The date Oct 68 is printed on the white border.

The photograph measures 9cm x 9cm (3.5 inches x 3.5 inches) The condition is very good plus.
