B36414 – Jimi Hendrix & His Band Of Gypsies 1970 Winter Festival For Peace Ticket Stub & Flyer (USA)

An original concert ticket for the Winter Festival For Peace which was held at Madison Square Garden, New York on the 28^th January 1970. Jimi Hendrix and His Band of Gypsies performed at the event but only played two songs before dropping his guitar and walking off the stage. The stub is for Centre Tower B, Gate 11, Section 110, Row B, Seat 3. It has been taped to a flyer for the event which bears the list of artists along with a list of patrons who contributed to the Vietnam Moratorium Committee. The stub measures 4.4cm x 5.2cm (1.8 inches x 2 inches). The flyer measures 21.7cm x 32.3cm (8.5 inches x 12.5 inches). There is tape to the top and bottom edge of the stub. There are sections of tape to the corners and edges of the flyer. The flyer has previously been folded leaving crease lines to which there is some tearing. There are tears to each edge, the largest of which measures 2.7cm. The condition is very good minus.
