B36520 – The Cream 1971 Taxation Accounts Letter & Payslips (UK)

An original typed letter addressed to D.L Shaw Esq. from PD Leake & Co Chartered accountants. The letter is dated 23^rd September 1971 and is relating to outstanding interest demanded by the collector of taxes for the years 1967-68 and 1966-67. The tax was owed by ‘The Cream’ Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker. Attached to the letter are two payslips for income from the years previously mentioned.  The letter measures 20.5cm x 25.5cm (8 inches x 10 inches). There are two holes punched through the left side. The condition is very good.
