B36892 – The Sex Pistols The Clash 1976 Anarchy In The UK Preston Concert Poster (UK)

An original concert poster that was used to promote the Sex Pistols, Damned and Clash performance that was due to take place at the Charlton (Should have been Charter) Theatre, Preston on 10th December 1976 as part of the Anarchy In The UK 1976 tour. This date had already been rescheduled as a replacement for a concert in Lancaster that was cancelled after the group’s infamous foul mouthed rant on the TV show ‘Today With Bill Grundy’. The poster measures 51cm x 76cm (20 inches x 30 inches). There are pinholes to all corners and wear and tear to the edges. The lower left corner is missing a very small section and there is a 4cm (1.5 inch tear) to the right edge which has been repaired with tape on the reverse. The condition is very good minus.
