B37098 – The Beatles Fan Club Newsletter 1970/1971 Collection (UK)

A collection of original newsletters from The Official Beatles Fan Club. Each letter is on the Liverpool headquarters headed paper. They were sent frequently in 1970 and 1971 to fill the gap left by The Beatles Monthly Book ceasing publication. All are double-sided and each bears a facsimile signature of the Fan Club secretary, Freda Kelly. The collection consists of the newsletters sent out on the following approximate dates:
9th March 1970
15th May 1970
24th June 1970 accompanied by a black and white photograph of John and Yoko
10th September 1970 accompanied by a colour photograph of Ringo playing drums in EMI Studios
13th November 1970 accompanied by a colour photograph of George in EMI Studios taken during the recording of ‘All Things Must Pass’
22nd April 1971
11th July 1971
Each of the newsletters measure 20.3cm x 32.8cm (8 inches x 13 inches). The condition is very good.
