B37401 – Chas McDevitt 1957 – 1976 Handwritten Letters

A collection of 28 letters and postcards each handwritten by Chas McDevitt. All but two of the letters are dated, the first is dated the 18th July 1957 and the last is dated the 26th November 1976. Most of the letters are on Chas McDevitt or McDevitt and Douglas stationery. Also included are three postcards bearing postmarks from 1964, 1966 and 1969. The largest letter measures 21cm x 29.8cm (8.2 inches x 11.2 inches). There is creasing and wear to most of the letters. Two holes have been punched at the top edge of each letter and postcard. The condition overall is very good.
