B37651 – David Bowie Signature Marquee Club 1966 (UK)

A piece of paper taken from an autograph book that has been signed in a black pen by David Bowie. David has added the inscription ‘To Mayd’ above his signature. The signature was obtained at the Marquee Club, London on the 30th July 1966 . The autograph comes with a letter from the original recipient that reads:
‘I obtained this autograph of David Bowie on the 30.7.1966 at the Marquee, Wardour Street London. It was the say England won the World Cup’
It measures 7.5cm x 10cm (3 inches x 4 inches). The signature has a line of tape staining across it. The condition is very good minus.
