An original 1968 mono first pressing of the Beatles self-titled album also known as ‘The White Album’. The record is on the dark green Apple labels with the catalogue number PMC 7067/8 and is a low numbered copy 0003909. The label has the ‘Sold In The UK…’ label text. Garrod and Lofthouse top opening gatefold sleeve with black inners, poster and the 4 colour prints. The matrix number on side one is XEX 709-1. The matrix number on side two is XEX 710-1. The matrix number on side three is XEX 711-1. The matrix number on side four is XEX 712-1.
The condition of the black inners is very good minus.
The condition of the four photos is very good plus.
There are numerous areas of discolouration and creasing to the fold lines. The condition of the poster is very good minus.The condition of the labels is very good plus.There are numerous light surface marks on sides one and two. The condition of sides one and two is very good minus. The condition of the vinyl on sides three and four is very good.
There are signs of ring wear and some minor discoloration to the edge of the sleeve. The laminate on the spine is slightly coming away from the sleeve and there is some creasing to the corners. The condition of the sleeve is very good.
