B38826 – John Lennon & Yoko Ono 1969 Amsterdam Press Photograph (USA)

An original black and white press photograph of John Lennon on a bike with Yoko Ono stood next to him. The photograph was taken in Amsterdam on the 27th March 1969. John and Yoko were on their honeymoon and had planned to stay in bed for the entire seven days as a protest against violence. There are several date and reference stamps on the reverse along with a typed caption.

The photograph measures 18cm x 25.5cm (7 inches x 10 inches).  There is some creasing to the lower half of the photograph. The condition is very good minus.

Provenance: originally part of the collection of Paul Goresh who famously took the last ever photograph of John Lennon in 1980.
