B38837 – Eric Clapton Robert Stigwood Letter + 1975 Car Insurance Cover Note (UK)

An original 1975 temporary car insurance cover note for a car owned by Eric Clapton. The insurance was taken out with London And Edinburgh General Insurance Company Ltd. to cover a Ferrari Berlina from 6^th January 1975.  It measures 21cm x 20cm (8.25 inches x 8 inches). The condition is very good.

The cover note comes with a letter from Maranello Concessionaires Ltd to the Robert Stigwood group that reads:

“Dear Sirs,

Thank you very much for sending us your cover note which we now have pleasure in returning to you.

The tax disc has been given to Mr M.Byart which you will have probably receive by now.  “

M.Konig”

The letter measures 20.5cm x 25.5cm (8 inches x 10 inches).  The condition is very good minus.
