‘In July 1967 my brother and I were flying home from boarding school in the UK to Cyprus, via Athens, on Olympic Airways. Our father was stationed at Episkopi with the RAF. There were no direct flights at that time and all flight went via Athens. When we landed at Athens we had to disembark and wait in the terminal for our connecting flight to Nicosia, When we climbed down the steps of the aircraft we stepped onboard a bus which would take us to the airport lounge. As we entered the bus I noticed George Harrison and Ringo Starr standing immediately to one side in front of us so I took the Olympic notepad that had been given and asked them for their autographs which they kindly gave me. I later stuck the signatures in my little autograph book.’.

In late July 1967 The Beatles travelled to Greece with the idea of buying an island to turn into a private commune for themselves, family, friends and employees. Each autograph book page measures 7.5cm x 4.8cm (3 inches x 1.9 inches). Tape stains to the edges of the paper. The condition is very good minus.
