B39298 – U2 1981 Autographed October Album (UK)

A UK vinyl pressing of the U2 album ‘October’ autographed on the front of the sleeve by the group in blue ballpoint pen. Bono has added the year ‘81’ below his signature.

There are staple holes in various places. The condition of the album is very good plus.

Provenance: the autographs were obtained at the Mayfair, Newcastle, England on 9th October 1981 by a person that worked for various record companies in the 1980s and 1990s and gained access to groups at numerous concerts. The sleeve itself was part of a display in HMV records to promote the ‘October’ album which was due to be released on 12th October 1981.
